The GTHL was back on the schedule as the Toronto Young Nationals faced the North York Rangers.

And on the other side, the Rangers played out an exciting 3-3 draw in the game against the Flyers.

Toronto Young Nationals ReviewNationals
The Nationals started slowly in this game. They were focused on their defence as they took a cautious approach in this game. However, goaltender Pratt was called upon as he made some remarkable saves in the first period.
Other than that, the Nationals were mostly passive in the first period of the game.

In the 2nd period of the game, the Nationals took a more aggressive approach. That paid off almost immediately as they scored in the 2nd minute of the 2nd period of the game. It was their best player Bullock that placed the biscuit in the back of the net. However, the Nationals were not able to build on that and the resulted stayed 1-0 at the end of the 2nd period.

In the final period of the game, the Nationals kept their steady pace. They controlled the puck well and played on the counter-attack. It looked like they will win the game. But the Rangers managed to score the equalizer in the 13th minute of the game. The game ended 1-1 and the Nationals were not able to capitalize on their defensive discipline in the game.

North York Rangers Review
The Rangers also had a slow approach in this game. Also, their focus was to contain the opponent’s top line. And they were successful in the 1st period of the game. Additionally, their goaltender Bou-Zeid managed to make 6 saves in order to keep the team in the game.

In the 2nd period of the game, the Rangers conceded an early goal in the 2nd minute. They were not able the penetrate the defensive formation of the Nationals. Therefore, there was not much space for the Rangers during the 2nd period of the game.

In the final period of the game, the Rangers took more risks going forward. Their opponents were focused on defending and they managed to take advantage of that. They were mounting pressure and scored a goal through Etan Tierman. The talented forward managed to take advantage during a rush in front of the Nationals goal and placed the puck in the back of the net.
The game ended 1-1.

Final Thoughts
Both teams had their defensive solidarity and formation discipline during the game. Therefore, the draw was probably a fair outcome for both teams in this game.
